Golf tournament to raise money for Brantley County fire victims

The Swinging for Hope Golf Tournament to benefit victims of the Brantley County wildfires will be held Saturday, Sept. 19 at the City Club at Lost Plantation. Families who lost their homes are still displaced, and some residents remain without water five months after the fires. Hope for Brantley, founded while the fires were still burning, has had several campers donated to provide temporary housing for families and is now stepping up fundraising efforts to help more residents.
